Tenerife (Canaries) - Sao Vincente (Cap Verdes)

11/12/02 at 19:30 GMT: 17.53N 24.17W, another 12 hours to the Cap Verdes but they have spotted land! Hopefully tomorrow an update from Bas...
10/12/02 at 19:00 GMT: 20.09N 24.32W, going south. One advantage, they can shower and eat & drink all they want :>)
10/12/02 at 14:30 GMT: 20.31N 24.29W, Bas just called: because of the lousy wind and poor wind expectations they decided to make an extra stop at the Cap Verdes. They are using to much fuel this way and need a refill. Distance is appr. 220 nm, a 1 1/2 day sail. They still expect to arrive at Barbados before 2003...

8/12/02: 24.7N 21.2W at 20.35 PM, everything OK, wind 8-9 knots, dinner is being served (Rob de kok?)

7/12/02 at 11.30 AM: 26.6N 19.59W, speed appr. 5 knots
6/12/02: 26N 20W: all well, hardly any wind.
