10/12/02 at 14:30 GMT: 20.31N 24.29W, Bas just called: because of the lousy wind and poor wind expectations they decided to make an extra stop at the Cap Verdes. They are using to much fuel this way and need a refill. Distance is appr. 220 nm, a 1 1/2 day sail. They still expect to arrive at Barbados before 2003...
