Where's the wind when you need it
14/7 12:55 - Halfway between Serifos and Hydra - We succesfuly made an early start this morning: 07:00 GMT we left the port, as planned. It began with some strange moderate, WSW winds caused by the island. But as soon as we cleared it, the wind turned to NNW. Straight in our face!
But at least there was wind. We could do an easy 4-5 knots on to the west, and only miss Hydray by a couple of miles if we were to stay on that course.
So what's the problem, you might ask. Well, the wind has now gone completely! And it's way to hot, and to far a trip to be listening to Yan's mumble for the remaining part of it.
The bloody Meteo Service promised us 5 North. Tonight we'll again have cold beers to prove them wrong!
